Teen support & life skills group
Groups have a way of fostering camaraderie, subsequently boosting mood, bolstering accountability, motivating, evoking insight, and expanding perspective. This six week group is ideal for an adolescent (13-16 yrs) who might benefit from this type of safe therapeutic environment where they can learn and practice social skills, work towards better managing intense emotions, explore unhealthy thinking, identify coping skills that are effective for their unique needs, and learn life skills that promote autonomy and accountability. This closed group will meet once weekly for 1.5 hours and conclude following 6 completed sessions. Please contact (972) 439-5751 for more information.
